Richard worked with Gino from 1971 to 1976 and performed, arranged and orchestrated on "Storm at Sunup", "Powerful People", and "Gist of the Gemimi", for A&M Records, as well as all live performance and TV Appearances.
Richard was a member of the Santana Band from 1979 through 1982, and recorded, co-produced, and wrote and performed on three Santana albums," Zebop, Dance of the Rainbow Serpent and Shango", as well as all tours, and numerous Television and Video appearances.
