Alex Ligertwood
Born Alexander John Ligertwood
Scottish guitarist, percussionist, and singer, born 18 December 1946 in Glasgow - died 30 April 2026.
He replaced Greg Walker as lead vocalist for Santana at the end of 1979 and remained with the band until 1983, returning for four more stints in 1984-1985, 1987, 1989–1991, 1992–1994.
