Steve Douglas

American saxophonist, flautist and clarinetist, producer, composer best known as a Los Angeles session musician (born 24 September 1938 in Los Angeles, California, USA - died 19 April 1993 in Los Angeles, California, USA). Former staff producer for Capitol Records and Mercury Records A&R head on the West Coast. Co-owner of the Pentagram label, Schmitt-Douglas Productions with Al Schmitt and Bobby Applegate and Los Angeles studio. Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 (Sidemen).
