Robert Nix

US southern rock drummer. Born November 8, 1944 in Blakely, Georgia. Passed away on 20 May 2012 in Memphis, Tennessee. He started as a member of Roy Orbison's backing band, The Candymen, before playing for Atlanta Rhythm Section. He was replaced by Roy Yeager in 1979.
