Ray Ohara
Born 小原礼 (Ohara Rei)
Japanese bass player born 17 November 1951, in Tokyo, Japan. Husband of Amii Ozaki.
Former member of Sadistic Mika Band and regular collaborator with Yukihiro Takahashi and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Relocated to the U.S. in 1977, returned to Japan in 1978, but in 1979, returned to the U.S. and joined Ian McLagan's The Bump Band, and Bonnie Raitt's band. Returned to Japan in 1986. Released his first solo album in 1988.
