American trumpeter and flugelhornist. Kevin Burns is the split lead trumpeter with the Airmen of Note, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. A native of Cleveland, Tennessee, his Air Force career began in 1993 where he was assigned to the Band of the West, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
Chief Burns began music studies at Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee.
